Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I just wanted to challenge myself. I had some pretty trying times in terms of with work, and I’m moving houses. Mainly I just wanted to challenge and push myself as far as I could.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
Having that regular check in with my coach Tommy has been massive for me in terms of support. I had the system in place around diet and training and keeping that regular, but it was that support network on the side that actually really helped significantly with achieving what I wanted.
What advice would you give someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Just stick with it.
It’s easy at the start, if I’m honest. Like if you’re expecting it to be easy throughout the whole challenge, you’re very wrong. It’s those last 2 or 3 weeks, so you really got to dig in and stick to your plan. You’ve got to have faith that it works. Just stick with it.

Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I had a few injuries last year and then one fairly big one mid-to-end of November. I needed to switch things up a bit, recoup the body, see where everything was, and heal up. I had put on a bit of weight last year, so I wanted to cut a bit of it off.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
A slight diet change and portion control. I can eat a fair bit, but when I actually weighed everything out, measured it, and spread it through the day, I was pretty satiated. I wouldn’t be snacking or anything like that. I also joined a rugby team, so I went from doing pretty much no cardio to heavy cardio two nights
What advice would you give someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Try and be more comfortable with how you look in the mirror rather than what’s on the scales.
I have lost a bit of weight, but I’m more happy with how I’m looking in the mirror and how clothes are fitting. I say that’s probably more impactful than a number on a little

Why did you decide to join the challenge?
The reason I decided to join it this time was just to improve on what I had learned the last time that I’ve done this 6-week challenge.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
I went to use sort of like a macro tracking app. I didn’t want to pay for the price of it and essentially ended up making my own spreadsheet. Putting all of my macros, my weight, everything into a tracker and tracked that on a daily basis.
What advice would you give someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Just give it a go.
It’s not as scary or intimidating as it might sound. And more importantly than winning, you get lots of wins in different ways. So it might be learning about nutrition, health, different exercises that you haven’t done before. It also helps you become super consistent at the gym.
So I would definitely give it a go. It’s definitely worth your time.

Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I wanted to challenge myself in my last year of my 20s. I was just about to reach 30 just before the end of the challenge, and I just kind of just wanted to see how far I could push myself. You know, last hoorah of my 20s.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
The biggest impact of my results was definitely increasing my protein intake. I thought that all I needed to do was kind of just eat little amounts of calories, and then I’d be fine. But I upped my protein and so waited for the results. It was night and day.
What advice would you give someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Just do it.
Everyone start somewhere. It’s scary for everyone initially, but you just have to take that leap of faith and put that faith into yourself, and you’ll get a huge return.
