Challenge Details
Start Date | June 2026
Length | 6 Weeks
1st Place – Prabath Dissanayake
Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I joined the challenge because, I wanted to have a structured goal to push myself. I think the biggest, achievement during this challenge is, to proving to myself that I could stay disciplined.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
You need to have the accountability and a clear plan. Became consistent with my training, gained more confidence, for myself.
What advice would you give to someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
You need to have the accountability and a clear plan. Set your goals realistically. Don’t wait until the perfect moment. Just start
Runner Up 1 – Leah Flanagan
Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I decided to join the challenge because I couldn’t find that motivation to get back into fitness. Very competitive person. So having that slight competition really motivated me.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
The thing that made the biggest impact for me on my results is getting my steps in. I work your typical office job. So I drive to work, do my hours behind the desk, and then I drive home and I just don’t hit that step count. So Matt making me hit that step count and do my incline walks really made a massive impact on my results.
What advice would you give to someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Stop making excuses. When you have that motivation, just go to the gym, do it. Just get it out the way. If you have that motivation on a Thursday and you’re like, I’m going to get into my fitness. Go on that Thursday. Don’t tell yourself, I’ll start on Monday. Because when that Monday comes around, you might not have the same motivation that you have on that Thursday. So just get started. Otherwise, you’re going to be in a continuous cycle where you just don’t do it.
Runner Up 2 – Makhosi Mpofu
Why did you decide to join the challenge?
My trainer, Ash, he, he basically just said, ‘You’re doing the 6-week challenge.’ So, I did the 6-week challenge.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
Consistency, you know, just showing up on those days where you do not want to. Getting on that StairMaster, getting tortured for 15 minutes. So, you just got to just keep it rolling.
What advice would you give to someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
Decide what you want. If you, if you want to get jacked, if you want to get stronger, or if you want to sit on the couch, you got to decide, you know, which one you want to do and, and stick with it.
Most Steps (886,447 Steps) – Brett Storen
Why did you decide to join the challenge?
The biggest thing I achieved during the six week challenge would have been weight loss and muscle gain. They were my goals and that’s where I definitely achieved them. This is my third challenge, I perform better in the six week challenge.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
20,000 steps a day definitely help with the weight loss and obviously tending the gym three to four times a week.
What advice would you give to someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
I would change my mindset and give it a good go and you get the results. Eat the calories. Eat your calories that you need to take because your body needs them. Or else you’ll just turn out really skinny.
Biggest Strength Increase – Alfie Wisdom
Biggest strength increase:
Squats 90kgs to 105kgs
Why did you decide to join the challenge?
I joined the challenge to keep me asked, keep me disciplined and keep me active. But above all, to try and achieve a better squat and drop some- drop some fat. During the six week challenge, I achieved a 105 kilo squat, up from 90 kilos.
What made the biggest impact on your results?
Biggest impact on my results was the weekly training with Dave. Dave kept me committed and focused on what the goal was. With clear instructions and training programs.
What advice would you give someone looking to get started on their own challenge?
You got to start. To start is the key. But don’t give up like it takes three, 4 or 5 weeks before you start seeing real change. And from then on, you’ll be enjoying the results and won’t want to give it up.
